Firehorse is Western Australia's first authentically oak barrel aged hot sauce. The chillies in Firehorse spend 4 years fermenting and maturing in premium, hand-selected American white oak barrels. This process gives Firehorse its unique flavour and aroma characteristics.
The Firehorse Light Blend has been developed for those who like the flavour of chilli without the heat.
An extremely mild sauce with the emphasis on a smooth oaky flavour and a hint of background sweetness from the toasting of the barrels the chillies sit in for 4 years before they're turned into Firehorse.
The sauce has three primary ingredients (all West Australian) and gets its unique flavour from the time the chillies cure in oak.
Serve generously on all of your favourite foods. Goes particularly well with oysters or with breakfast eggs.
